A Muralha
A Muralha is one of Evora most acclaimed restaurants, and has received many awards for regional cooking. Its seafood specialities are truly delicious: “Bacalhau à Braz” (Codfish and French fries with eggs and parsley in an onion sauce) and “Açorda de Marisco” (a thick bread and seafood soup), among other dishes, as well as its varied meat dishes: Pork with Clams, “Pézinhos de Porco de Coentrada” (pork fried with coriander) and Lamb Ribs, to name just a few. The restaurant is also worth a mention for its delicious desserts.
