FIESA - International Sand Sculpture Festival

Hollywood is the theme for this year’s FIESA – a huge international sand sculpture festival that has been held in Pêra every summer since 2003. The exhibition is unique in the Iberian Peninsula, thanks to its size and the area it covers and is considered the world’s biggest sand sculpture festival. This year’s exhibition will occupy an area of 15 thousand square metres, built by the skilled hands of artists from all over the world who work for a month to shape 35,000 tonnes of sand.
